Meet Klas Forsgren
For the past few months, Klas Forsgren has been part of the Rydahls Industry team. With a combination of technical expertise and a strong customer focus, he has already had the opportunity to get to know several of our customers and their daily work within the industrial sector.
Klas describes himself as someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. He is motivated by understanding the customer’s real needs and then working together to find solutions that function in practice – both technically and in the long term.
His background is firmly rooted in industry. Klas holds a degree in materials engineering with a specialization in metallurgy, and he then worked for seven years at a Swedish steel manufacturer. There, he held roles such as technical customer service engineer and application manager for cold working. The work involved close collaboration with customers, technical advisory responsibilities, and accountability for material selection and application support.
He now brings that experience into his role at Rydahls Industry. He is used to translating technical challenges into concrete solutions and building relationships that develop over time. He has particularly strong expertise in the manufacturing industry and the automotive segment, where demands for quality, durability, and delivery reliability are often high.
In his new position, Klas views sales as a consultative role. For him, it is about supporting the customer all the way – from when a need or problem arises until a solution is in place.
His daily focus is on creating trust by being accessible, attentive, and technically knowledgeable. Klas also highlights that reliability and understanding the customer’s business are crucial in the partnership with a supplier.
Outside of work, Klas is a social and curious person who enjoys playing golf, watching football, and spending time with friends and family.
