Brake Drums and Discs – Engineered by Rydahls

Rydahls can deliver the entire chain of components that make up a complete and fully functional brake system, ready for direct installation in, for example, the end customer’s assembly facility – everything from pedal to brake.

In many projects, there is a need to complement the system with completely new, custom-designed brake discs and brake drums when the customer’s required dimensions are not available as standard.

Rydahls manufactures discs and brake drums primarily in cast iron, which provides excellent heat dissipation and helps dampen minor vibrations. For more demanding conditions, a stronger material such as ductile iron is chosen. We also offer stainless steel options for specific applications, as well as other alternative materials upon special request from the customer.
